The department of English came into being into the year 1971 when the college came into existence. The department offered English literature as an optional subject for the UG students. It has also started with Soft Skill Certificate Course for the students. The department is continuously striving and upgrading the knowledge of the students and imparting them quality education to make them competent and self-reliant. The department arranges various competition like essay, elocution, poster presentation to improve their language skill.
